DS and LA: Marking Their Territory

While friends of Liyana Atiqah came over to her house as early as they could in pink, Deen's high school friends took their own sweet time. This is what greeted them. 

20th October 2013 marked an important date in Deen and Liyana's life calender- they got engaged! Like any other traditional Malay engagement ceremony, both sides of the family would gather (usually the male's side would come to visit the female's house) and discuss on things like; date of the wedding, dowry and other raising matters pertaining to the soon to be celebrated couple. 

Technically, we missed the important parts of the event but definitely not the food. 

Walking down memory lane, here is a brief of their love story:

2004- They first met during Matriculation but Liyana was with another guy.

2009- According to Deen, this is when he kicked off "The Project", but often Liyana would turn done Deen because she saw no "current".

Oct 2012- First date together, ironically to attend Liyana's ex boyfriend's wedding.

Oct 2013- Got engaged.

Liyana's thoughts on Deen,"He never gave up and he started off with my parents first".

Deen's thoughts on  Liyana,"I like her".

Whatever their reasons are, we're all glad that they found each other. Can't wait for the big day.
